“Who owns your identity?”

This painting started with a question that’s becoming harder to ignore.

As AI becomes increasingly capable of recreating faces, voices, and personalities, we’re entering a world where parts of our identity can be separated from us and repurposed in ways we never intended.

     * Deepfake videos
     * Voice cloning scams
     * Identity theft
     * Fake social media profiles
     * Non-consensual image manipulation
     * Business impersonation
     * Reputation Attacks

AI raises important questions about consent, ownership, and authenticity. But perhaps the deeper question is one we’ve always wrestled with.

If so much of who we are changes depending on where we are and who we’re with, what part of our identity truly belongs to us?
