The Journey is a triptych exploring three qualities that shape who we become: Courage, Perseverance and Memory.

​

Each painting represents a different part of the journey through a working life. Courage is the decision to take the first step, to face uncertainty and move forward despite what lies ahead. Perseverance represents the strength to keep going when the path becomes difficult, reminding us that progress is often measured not by how quickly we move, but by our refusal to stop.

Memory reflects the experiences, people and moments that stay with us, shaping the person we become and giving meaning to the journey behind us.

Together, the three works are intended to be viewed as one story. They reflect the idea that our journey is not simply about where we are going, but also about what we overcome, what we carry with us, and the experiences that shape us along the way.
